Wondering about the proper way to chill Champagne?

Assuming an ambient temperature of 20°C, allow 40 minutes to chill a Champagne cellared to 11°C but at least two hours for a Champagne at room temperature — considerably longer in some special cases.

The advantage of the ice bucket is that it brings a wine down to the right temperature gradually then keeps it there. Adding salt to your ice will melt it faster and speed up the chilling time.

Use Mr. Clean Magic Eraser to get rid of grease and burnt-on food.
-Clean the oven.
Before you run your oven’s self-cleaning mode, wipe or scrape out any caked-on burnt stuff.

-Clean microwave.
The inside and outside, door and handle.

-Clean and descale coffee maker.

Clean out fridge and freezer.
-Toss expired food and freezer items older than 6 months old.
-Wipe: shelves | drawers |handles
-Vacuum beneath refrigerator.
-Vacuum fridge coils and vent.

Degrease cabinets and wash the walls.

Clean inside/outside cabinets, doors and shelves.

Clean out and organize the pantry.
>Discard expired items.
>Empty toaster tray.

Disinfect high-touch areas:

Wipe countertops.

Clean and sanitize sink:

Clean garbage disposal.
_Toss a few lemon peels down the drain to freshen its smell.
_Ice cubes in the garbage disposal help knock bits of clinging-on food from the blades.

Sweep, dry mop and/or vacuum the floors.

Clean your dishwasher filter.
Wash your dishwasher.
Run an empty cycle with Dishwasher Cleaner.

Clean stainless steel appliances.

Clean your kitchen blinds.

Wash the windows.

Wipe down walls and baseboards.

Take out trash and recycling.

Sweep, dry mop and/or vacuum the floors.

Disinfect and sanitize door knobs, light switches, hard surfaces and high-touch areas.

Scrub your shower, bathtub and sink.

-Clean faucets, handles, hardware and drains.

Clean mirrors using store-bought cleaner or DIY glass cleaner solution.

Organize the medicine cabinet, shelves, drawers and closets.

-Trash expired makeup.

Deep clean the toilet.

Sanitize:

Clear your schedule. CENTER YOURSELF. Let's do a Deep clean of those LIVING ROOM spaces 🛋️.

Dust everything from top to bottom.

Wash the windows, window sills and ledges.

Dust and wash doors.

Wash the walls and baseboards.
Walls actually absorb and trap all sorts of smells.

Sweep, vacuum and mop. Then run a wet mop across the hard floors.
